If you have never visited India before then Rajasthan is the place to go. Indeed for many of our women traveler's it is somewhere they have visited again and again. it is rich in Mughal history, known as the land of the Maharajas, a wondrous landscape of colours, cacophony and heart. It is a breathtaking area to visit forts and palaces, some of which we stay in. Experience Indian cooking and block printing, as well as visiting many of the artisans at work in their villages before their crafts are lost.

This tour will take in some of Rajasthan as we drive down to Gujarat but is mainly centered on Gujarat and the Little Rann of Kutch. It is an area rich in tradition and has a vast variety of artisans still practicing such crafts as bell making, mud relief work, pottery, leather crafts and much much more. As we have been going to the area for many years, we feel privileged as we are often invited into the homes of the tribal people who are mainly Jats and Rabaris the latter tribal people renowned in the past for their camel herding but today mainly sheep and cattle. There are not many areas left where you can witness at first hand these traditions which have been handed down for generations.

As a small independent tour operator we can guarantee that you will see India as a traveler and not as a tourist. We especially take care to ensure that you have plenty of time to absorb all the wonder that is India. This has been one of the many strengths of Tiger Travel. As a result our small group women's tour's have proved to be very popular. With a maximum of 8 early booking is recommended to ensure you are not disappointed. It also ensures lower airfares.
